Sammy and the future of the Fair

So we went out to see Sammy Hagar at Fair St. Louis. Great show, by the way, and St. Louis has always loved the Red Rocker. Sammy said he's been trying for 10 years to play the fair, and he was so excited he finally got to, but he really wants to play under the Arch itself. So, he said right out loud that he's committed to play the fair again next year. All this is in hopes they move it all back over there. (This year the parade was back downtown, but the actual fair stayed in Forest Park as the progress on the Arch Grounds continues.)

Now I noticed just today that the Fair St. Louis website says future locations for the fair are not yet determined. Initially I heard it was just supposed to be in Forest Park for 2 years, so it was a surprise to me that they didn't move it back yet. But now we have new questions:
  • Will Sammy be back at the fair for another free show next year?
  • Will the fair be back at the Arch grounds for 2017? It's sure working at Forest Park.
  • Ultimately, will Sammy Hagar get his wish and get to play under the Arch?
If so, you heard it hear first. We know he's serious about his excitement. So much that, you may recall, he leaked the concert out early in the year, which was super unusual in and of itself. Keep an eye out for updates on this series of events, but I gotta say if Sammy comes back with The Circle, pretty sure you'll find me there next year.

Have a great fourth!
