St. Louis City Soccer Club: Yeah, we remember the days of the Steamers and even the original Ambush, but STL proper hadn't had a major league soccer team in years. Well, we now have a state-of-the-art facility built and a brand new and pretty darn winning team to go with. Heads up for flying soccer balls next time you head downtown.

World Wide Technology Raceway: The renewed former Gateway Motorsports Park on the Illinois side features a 1.25 mile oval, 1.6 mile road course and a quarter-mile drag strip, allowing them to host plenty of vehicular events, including IndyCar, and now the NASCAR truck, Xfinity and Cup series.' (Thanks for the autograph after that year one win, Logano!)

In addition, their KartPlex lets you get behind the wheel of a souped up go-kart with some serious speed. Watch their calendar for coming events, and look for STL Cardinals racing theme tix at the ballpark for a great dual sport deal and the swag to go with.

St. Louis BattleHawks XFL Football: Despite a short first season, this brand new XFL team was selling out games at the Dome... until they shut down the entire league. Now the BattleHawks are BACK, which definitely has fans here shouting, "Ca-CAW!"
