2017's Fair STL Line Up & the Sammy Question

Well this week Fair St. Louis announced the concert line up for the year, right here. No Sammy.

Now that doesn't mean Hagar won't see St. Louie this year. He's just coming round later on September 30 for K-SHE 95's 50th birthday party. (Also announced this week. Coincidence?) And this actually makes all kinds of sense given their unique relationship. So, if you're a fan, now you know (you probably already did), and that answers our question of curiosity from last year. They didn't take him up on the free offer.

Now as for the other question of future fair location, at this point, the official Fair St. Louis website still states, "Although we are very excited about the renovations currently underway at the Gateway Arch grounds, the location for future Fairs has not been determined." I think we'll see what happens next year if the Arch grounds project is completed later this year as tentatively anticipated. It will certainly be interesting to see how the field turns out when it's done, and how the modifications will affect area capacity.
